The Swedish Wildernesscamp was found bij Örjan Wiklund and Marten Willems

It was in 2004 that I, Marten Willems, have made contact with Örjan Wiklund in Sweden. He was busy then with producing Hot Tubs. By way of him i start with importing those wooden barrels from Sweden to the Netherlands. We became friends with each other and the results of that are the actual activities. For years I am (with my woman) raging enthusiastic concerning Sweden. The nature there is so overwhelming and unequalled. Also you find here the totally silence. A number of years we were thinking of emigrating but we have not done that because our children were a little bit to old (14 and 16 years) and we had other occupations.

A number of months ago Örjan had the idea to do something with tourism. He has 350 hectares nature area near Stugun and on his land stand his farm close to the river Indalsälven. In the middle of the forest, a few kilometers further, is a fäbod with stuga along a small river. We want to try to rent it out to people who are searching for rest and besides that we want to offer specific activities. But also we want to offer break and breakfast and dinner.  In spring 2008 we want to build of newer more comfortable building.

The advantage of this cooperation is that you can rent beautiful houses in the Dutch, English, German and Swedish language in the middle of in Swedish nature (bush). Also we can tell everything concerning the surroundings and we can offer activities.
